Often at odds in the past, there can be no doubting the relevance of dematerialisation to Human Resource management today. Whether it be recruitment, training, professional social networks, video interviews, the “gamification” of training or MOOCs, digitisation offers new tools every day to breathe life into the digital dimension of companies.

Digital uptake is virtually unanimous among HR managers: according to the study HR and Digital Transformation, some 94% believe that digitisation represents an opportunity for their organisation, while 95% would say the same for their role (1).

Naturally, we have seen the widespread deployment of these new tools, thanks largely to the sharp growth in SaaS (+20% per year) and the favourable regulatory environment.

Nonetheless, a number of avenues have yet to be fully explored.
