DIGITISATION IN BANKS: THE HIDDEN SIDE OF THE ICEBERG
BANKING DIGITISATION AT FULL TILT
Faced with new market players (fintech, online banks, etc.), continuous regulatory reforms and hyper-connected clients that are increasingly demanding and volatile, banks have launched their own digital transformation and the results speak for themselves.
According to the “Banking and Innovation” report published by the French Banking Federation, some 80% of French customers choose digital channels for the majority of transactions on their bank accounts. Online banking applications are now part of the fabric of our daily lives. However, this digitisation of the customer journey – with all its promise of a fluid and seamless experience across the various channels (portal, branch, email, mobile, post, etc.) – hides a number of contradictions and complexities.
SOLUTIONS FOR ELECTRONIC ARCHIVING AND SIGNATURES: THE TWO FORGOTTEN FEATURES OF 100% DIGITAL RECRUITMENT!
THE WORLD IS CHANGING, AS ARE HR PRACTICES!
The days of receiving job applications with carefully handwritten cover letters through the post are long behind us. Ultra-simplified applications in a few clicks (or even one click!) have grown increasingly ubiquitous. First appearing on the market around fifteen years ago, professional social networks like LinkedIn and Viadeo kickstarted the digitisation process for recruitment. Social networks have made it easier for recruiters and jobseekers to make contact through job postings and by attracting talent with content enhancing the brands of employers.

Recruitment is a major driver of competitiveness and companies simply cannot afford to approach the sector from an administrative angle. Managing applications is a considerable challenge for HR managers and requires…
PATIENT RECORDS: DISPENSING WITH PAPERWORK AND CLOSED SYSTEMS
For years, healthcare establishments have been managing patient medical records using a hybrid system that combines industry-based digital applications, allowing them to identify patients when they enter the establishment, and paper documents, for all other stages of the patient pathway (X-rays, tests, reports, etc.). The time has come to do away with such archaic management and dispense (at least to some extent) with paper.
With Law no. 2016-41 of January 2016 on the “modernisation of the French healthcare system” inciting establishments to form regional hospital groups (GHTs) and implement a shared strategy for patient management, the issue of dematerialisation and overhauling the existing methods of patient record management is back on the agenda. The idea is to determine how best to improve the quality of patient services, ensure the quality and continuity of management between different establishments within the same group, and for hospital staff to improve the accessibility of information and save time by no longer having to navigate between physical documents and digital tools. As such, the real issue is: how to digitise and optimise the patient pathway from admission to release?
